Hey everybody Sockeye Salmon season is just a few days away. The numbers are looking good with over 900,000 fish at Skeena Tyee Test Fishery and 15,000 counted into the Lake at the Babine Fish Counting Wier. The Sockeye are arriving a little slower than pervious years due to higher water levels and cooler water temperatures. This is a good thing for the Salmon as they arrive in better condition.
Here is hoping they announce the limit to increase from 1 a day to 2 or 4 soon.
The Marina Security Gate has been repaired.
Please be careful when opening gate. The handle should be pushed down. Not forced up.
Thanks to all for your Patience.
Great news.
